Just some housecleaning here...I felt these notes were better served in the comment section to remove some clutter from the tab itself.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
This is the most widely known version of "Colors" by Amos Lee. It was featured most notably thus far in the movie "Just Like Heaven" with Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo. Amos is a great up and coming talent in the ilk of John Mayer and Jack Johnson and I highly recommend his music.
Anyways, here's the tab. Please note that he uses a strange tuning on the album...it's standard tuning more or less, but tuned down not quite a half step. Really, just tune it standard and play it, but just know if you're playing along with the album that that's the reason it sounds funny. Also, there's an important distinction between the Em/G and and the Em in the song...the only Em happens in the bridge. It actually does make a pretty noticeable difference to the song. I'm just saying is all. :D
I'll be tabbing the acoustic demo version of this song next.
And yes, this song (as you can hear from the soundbyte) is a little above my range, and my PC can't handle the clipping on the really high notes once or twice...but I just didn't feel right singing it an octave down. Anyways, hope it's enogh to learn the song from.
